Some Rules to Live By

- You receive one physical body. You may like it or you may hate it, but it's yours. - You may make alterations, improvements, and maintenance on a regular basis.
- You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time school called life. This life is just a 'test'. If it were a real life, you would have been given instructions on where to go and what to do. Each day lessons will be taught. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.
- There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error along with experimentation. The "failed" experiments are just as important to our lives as the successful ones.
- A lesson is repeated until it is learned. Lessons will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned them. Then can you go on to another lesson.
- Learning does not end. There is no part of life that does not contain significant lessons. Every day, every waking hour we are confronted with thoughts, situations, and experiences from which we can learn.
- 'Over there' is not better than 'right here.' Whenever we arrive 'over there' we will find another 'over there' that appears better. A good message is to be in the 'here and now.'
- Other people's mannerisms, quirks, or personalities which we love or dislike are merely mirror images of ourselves in what we love or dislike within us.
- What you make of your life is up to you. We have all the tools and resources needed. The choice is yours as to what you do with those tools.
- A question, challenge or 'situation' is posed of us when we are prepared and ready to answer the question, accept the challenge, or deal with the 'situation.'
- What you see in the universe, sees you. Trust in yourself and the universe is trusting. Love yourself and the universe is a loving place.
